Feb 3, 2010 - What makes you think Adam will never do covers again? In fact, he just covered Whole Lotta Love again on New Year's Eve. I bet over the course of his career we will see him do covers here and there, just like many artists do. Don't worry! :)

kat23morgan Says:

Feb 1, 2010 - it is kind of stupid to even debate Adam's voice which is incredible...he is very aware of taking care of it...he constantly drinks water, honey ,etc...he is a very intelligent man with a gift from God...he will be just fine...he will rock the world, wake up the world to being more fair minded.

outlawbooster Says:

Jan 30, 2010 - What breaks my heart is Adam will not do covers anymore, he wants to do new songs . So songs like this will never be sung by one of the most beautiful voices in the world. It's a shame.

Jan 30, 2010 - I've come here, along with my fellow Lambert fans so many times over and over to listen to Adam's beautiful rendition of this song. I would just love to see and hear him sing this live. Love this one, Come Home and Dust in the Wind . To see and hear him sing any one of those live would have been such an absolute honour. Happy Birthday Adam! We may not be able to be there in Hollywood to celebrate with you but we're here in spirit at the Upright Cabaret!

Jan 8, 2010 - ADAM ROCKS!! This made me cry!

Jan 2, 2010 - this made me cry because i can feel the emotions behind this song. he rocks.

Jan 2, 2010 - Bluedybluedyblue, your comment puzzles me. As I recall, Adam has toured with Wicked, Hair, and has been singing since he was ten. By your logic, don't you think practicing, just for vocal lessons, would have damaged his voice? Touring and doing wicked for a year and a half AGAIN a year or so later? Yet he still sings magnificently. And Mariah Carey can still hit those high notes, and she's been singing and touring since the '90s. I'm afraid your comment is fallacious and untrue.

katia04 Says:

Jan 2, 2010 - Out of every performance he's ever done...including Gridlock and the talk shows and the AMAs and Idol...this one STILL takes the cake by a long shot. Tear-jerker. Vocal perfection. Heartfelt. Stunning. Doubt he'll ever top this. It's impossible.

starr522 Says:

Jan 1, 2010 - I agree and disagree at the same time. When I was performing, if I was not doing the opening for a Nashville Starr I was in the clubs where, if I was not doing a 2 a night floor show, I was singing 5- 45 minute sets that translated into about 60 songs a night. Yes there were times I woke up and couldn' t speak. Throat spray and keep going. Hell I' ve done spray on stage. It' s part of the business. Your voice gets damaged but it' s not over. When I retired I was still hitting 4 octaves.

talex42 Says:

Jan 1, 2010 - Not so , Blue, they said the same about Tom Jones 30 years ago and he sounds the same now... he just performed at Gridlock NYEve and was great!!

Dec 31, 2009 - What a difference a year makes! So proud of him.

jazzy19001 Says:

Dec 29, 2009 - I did not see any of this "damage" with Carrie Underwood - she continued to get better and better after the Idol tour. She may have peaked now - I don't know - but she is still vocally amazing (as well as being a nice person) - like Adam. Adam can make you soar like no other right now and for a very long time to come - and those high notes are part of the magic - that's for sure!

mihalrots Says:

Dec 27, 2009 - On his way down vocally?? Suuuuuure.....whatever... Wait for THIS year's New Years Eve performance- then we'll see how "damaged" his voice is, LOL!

sas17271 Says:

Dec 26, 2009 - Adam is a miracle.......

AndySchrei Says:

Dec 22, 2009 - I don't believe that's true, actually. Adam's voice is very well trained, and he sounds as good today as ever. He's got many good years ahead of him. Just listening to the various different renditions of Whaddaya Want From Me that he's done on television... each one is different, and imbued with the spontaneous expression that he's so brilliant at. I think Adam will continue to surprise and delight his audience with his range and power for a long time to come.

Morningdew1435 Says:

Dec 20, 2009 - @Bluedybluedyblue He's been singing a lot since he was ten years old. He's probably not going to be deteriorating any time soon.

DeeOhio1 Says:

Dec 20, 2009 - I have come here many times to hear Adam sing this song and every time it takes my soul to the skys and the tears fill my eyes.....it just does that to me.......even now with his new cd FYE, I cant get enough.....nerver been like this about an artist before. Thank you, Adam

Morningdew1435 Says:

Dec 18, 2009 - Love you, Adam!! :D

Morningdew1435 Says:

Dec 18, 2009 - Adam Mitchel Lambert is the greatest singer who has lived so far, and we all feel like he will be. I just LOVE him so much. When he auditioned for American Idol, it looked like he was going to cry. He just puts emotion into his music, and that's one of the reasons why it is so beautiful, even For Your Entertainment or Kiss and Tell. His voice is so hard to explain. It's just that wonderful. :) Did you know he won Young Hollywood Awards - Artist of the Year?

Bluedybluedyblue Says:

Dec 17, 2009 - Idol and touring have damaged his voice permanently. 2008/early-2009 saw the peak of his vocal ability, where his power, range, phrasing, diction, etc, all intersected. He'll never sound like this again. His power may stay the same or possibly increase for a few more years, but his range has already hit its peak and is now on the decline. It happens to all big singers. Plant, Perry, Mercury, Buckley, Tate, & many others all lasted 1-4 years after setting off on hard touring before deteriorating.

nahilda Says:

Dec 12, 2009 - Actually, no; it's not a 'choice'.

TheWICKEDWOMAN Says:

Dec 9, 2009 - You can tell he feels this song in his heart and soul. How things have changed but I still come back to pre-idol ADAM and I love his idol performances and his CD. Every time I see him perform, I am thoroughly entertained!

EowynForAdam Says:

Dec 5, 2009 - Love the vulnerability, emotion, purity of the voice, unshed tears... Makes me want to take him in my arms and tell him I love him and that everything will be all right... Remember - this is LESS THAN A YEAR AGO - how far have we all come in this journey???
